Brand Highlight: My favorites from Beautycounter

I have been a Beautycounter consultant for almost a year now! From a consultant perspective, I took this a different route and used the opportunity to educate myself about this highly underregulated industry and bad ingredients. There are a ton of articles and influencers out there that can talk in depth about this but I try to give it the no-BS (sorry) straight forward version.

Beautycounter Favorites

I’ll be honest, although I am cleaning up my routine and vanity, there are still products that I use that aren’t necessarily clean. I try my best to do my research on EWG with ingredients as well because you would be surprised of how many mainstream products don’t necessarily have bad ingredients – just my two cents!

Anyways, being a consultant has given me the opportunity to try an array of BC products and since today is the last day for the sale, I wanted to do a long-standing post (if you missed my long winded insta story) that lists my favorites and why.

Tint Skin

Beautycounter Tint Skin

The highest coverage base Beautycounter offers. This isn’t full coverage but light-to-medium coverage. It feels very lightweight on the skin but also offers enough coverage to even out skintone. The finish is very natural (neither dewy or matte) and lets your skin peak through making it look like you have nothing on. This is a lovely base especially for the spring and summer time and needs minimal effort to put on flawlessly.

Liquid Eyeliner

I have tried numerous eyeliners and besides my Kat Von D and Still one, I haven’t found any other that stand up to my oils lids and constant eye rubs - I know I’m harsh. This liquid liner is incredible! It stays on all day, doesn’t flake and is super pigmented! I will continue to repurchase this eyeliner until someone comes up with one with a felt tip that is as good as this one.

Nourishing Cream Cleanser

Very gentle cleanser that hydrates skin as it cleanses. This does not irritate or strip my skin like most cleansers do and does the job as a cleanser. I’ve repurchased this and will continue to repurchase.

Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion

BeautyCounter Countermatch Lotion

This is most definitely my ultimate favorite from BC. I’ve used this moisturizer for a year now which is crazy to say because I am such a product junkie! It gives me enough moisture for the winter months but also keeps oil at bay during the warmer months! It is definitely my HOLY GRAIL moisturizer. I wouldn’t recommend this for drier skin as I feel as though it probably won’t be enough moisture. It is super lightweight and sits very well under makeup.

Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream

I don’t believe eye creams help my dark circles in the slightest bit. Just being honest. Mine are hereditary and can’t be “resolved”. However I do like to show my under eye area some TLC to replenish that thin layer of skin. This is a no nonsense eye cream that does the job. It’s light so that you can wear it day and night and it doesn’t irritate my eyes like most eye creams.

No.1 Oil (Brightening + Vitamin C)

Later this week, I will talk about my love for Vitamin C oils! I wish I knew they existed before and this one is fabulous! It smells citrusy and wakes me up in the morning but the bottle also lasts you a long time, which is good since serums aren’t cheap. I definitely see the difference when I don’t use this. It gives my skin an instant boost and pick me up and doesn’t clog my pores! I’ve repurchased it twice already so that’s when you know it’s love!
