Headbands of hope

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege to attend an event called “Catalyst University”. The speaker set was filled with inspiring people who were channeling their energy for the greater good.  With her colorful personality and dynamic presentation, Jessica Ekstrom took the stage and just tugged at my heartstrings as she talked about her company “Headbands of Hope”.

Her purpose is simple yet brings joy to numerous children across the United States; For every headband sold, one is given to a child with cancer. These headbands are thoughtfully put together and absolutely gorgeous and are a simple gesture to give confidence and hope to those who are affected by cancer.

Her product is so simple yet it brings so much joy to these children who put them on. They act as little crowns to celebrate them.

I’m already someone who is obsessed with headbands (though I rarely wear them) so I put in my order right there on the spot. I received my order last week and I’m so impressed with the quality of them that I am ready to put in another order. They don’t just have fancy headbands with pearls and beads but also offer simpler styled options for everyday wear.
